Experience and Knowledge Base

My working experience as an operator with SABIC – a petrochemical industry has proved invaluable. This job enabled me to acquire technical knowledge of operating plants. Specifically, I was involved in mega test and inspection of the big plants in the refinery. I also had the opportunity make numerous presentations on safety of the facility and importance of promoting safety awareness behaviors and attitudes.  Additionally, I was involved in solving technical problems in the course of my work. My one year experience a hotel receptionist helped me improve my interpersonal relations and problem solving skills. I also became an effective communicator and was exposed to different cultures.  My quest for knowledge is insatiable and I value education so much. After graduating from high school I enrolled for an associate degree in mechanical engineering technology. My quest for knowledge and skills saw me enroll for full mechanical engineering degree thereafter. The degree enabled me to get a better understanding of principles of physics and materials science for analysis, design, manufacturing, and maintenance of mechanical systems. My most substantial accomplishment has been the success of getting excellence GPA in the college and getting a good job in good place (Ras Tanura Refinery) which is called School of Learning. I was also recognized in the university’s president list and the Dean’s list during my undergraduate study. I had the honor to help people with disabilities everywhere I saw them. I am so caring in drawing a smile on the face of needed children around the world. With regard to leadership and membership, during my college period, I was a member in Saudi Student Club and Muslim Student Association in the University. I derive much pleasure in helping the disadvantaged in the society and I am greatly involved in projects aimed at helping the needy in the society. My hobbies include sports; I also have a passion for traveling and understanding different cultures of the world. All these elements have given me a very broad stance, with varying degrees of knowledge in a range of topics. I strongly believe that although some are not related directly, all these qualities will influence and contribute to my graduate work.

An opportunity to enroll for the MBA degree at KFUPM will help me realize my dreams and benefit my community at large.
