Delta force identifies where the hostages are held and assaults the terrorist holdout. The film brings out the loathing anti- Islamic terrorist sentiments. There is a debilitating cost of Islamic terrorism in justification of the films stance. Much of world’s faults are not caused by America and Israel but more often the ones to be blamed are the Islamic terrorists and extremists. Delta force does not try to trivialize this fact. On the other hand, America and Israel are to be blamed for not humanizing the world’s ills. Thus the Islamic extremists and terrorists should not be viewed as evil people but as people blinded and blighted by religious dogma. This point switches the film from a 3.5 star rating to a 1.5 star action film. At this point, Norris reclaims his role in promoting his pro-military history.
