After graduation from the nursing school in 1997, the amount of training I have taken has incessantly increased my level of confidence in the nursing practice. Since then, I have become a highly skilled and focused nurse with a colossal knowledge in patient care. This has amplified my desire to make a true difference in the lives of the sick persons in the community. As a family nurse medical practitioner, I will be offering preventive and curative care services to my patients. This way, I will have a leading role in ensuring that the community members live healthier, happier, and longer lives.

Seeking to further my practice, I moved to the United States in 2010 and later acquired my license for the nursing practice in 2015. I gained a great deal of experience while working at the Victoria Nursing Home. I was one of the nurses that provided professional care services, which were tailored for different patients. This exposure offered me the opportunity to take on greater responsibilities given the level of patient autonomy I possessed. As such, becoming a family nursing practitioner will allow me the same level of patient autonomy and other extensive responsibilities in the primary health care setting. In addition, the practice will offer me the opportunity to work directly with patients suffering from different conditions.

Currently, I work as a nurse in Palmetto General Hospital. In this facility, I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings within the institution. Most importantly, I have learned to treat patients from the onset of their ailments all through to their recovery. Having gained all this experience, I am confident that I will be in a position to become a competent family nursing practitioner, which is my dream profession. I will have a chance to work with individuals of all ages and with a wider range of medical issues. Being a nursing primary health care provider, I will be able to provide excellent and effective services to all the patients. This will guarantee more positive long-term patient care outcomes within the family units.

In summary, the primary reason why I would like to become a family nursing practitioner is my desire to contribute more to the health of families in the community. Pursuing this profession will let me practice nursing autonomously while assuming greater responsibilities for patients. Also, through my immense concern to see a healthier community, the practice will allow me to maintain a close and long-term relationship with the patients. This profession will also be an important milestone in the advancement of my career as a nurse. Ultimately, I will be working towards achieving the greater goals of the nursing practice by providing an adequate medical care to those who need health care.
